I've always played and run wizards on a mana system. Kinda makes sorcerers superfulous. I am of trhe mind that sorcerers were a WotC cop-out to those of us who used spell point systems. "Throw the heathens a bone!" I'd still rather play a wizard, even a Vancian wizard, than a sorcerer.
