Balance is an art, not a science. As a DM, I have a sense of how things are going in the game and what the group can handle. I adjust accordingly to keep the players on the edge of their seats.

Same. I always check the 1 star reviews, just to see what people are saying. You can tell when someone has an axe to grind, or didn't even understand or use the product correctly. . On the other hand, sometimes I see useful information in those 1 star reviews and change my mind about buying.

Thanks! I love it too! There are currently no plans for more PF1 content, but I can't rule it out completely. If there is a lot of interest in that, it could be possible. Once we get the Player's Guide (5e) done, a conversion would be conceivable.

The largest I ever DMed was about 8 people, I think, back in 2e. Didn't care for it, and it didn't last too long. I prefer 3-4. I'll do 5, but more than that is too much.

I've read the whole thread, and there are a few things that ring true to me. *Penalizing only armor wearing characters is wrong. *Using encumbrance still doesn't cover the issue of buoyancy - see the character who is encumbered by carrying a 200 pound raft... An easy way to address these...
