    Sorcerers in your game

I don't have sorcerers in my homebrew, so I don't worry about it. Basically, I agree.

DMs: Fight to Win or Fight for Fun?

I think you did the right thing. If I was you, I'd have done the same things. IMO, an adventure isn't exciting unless someone dies. I like to keep the threat as real as possible for the characters.

It's that time of year... (rant)

I know how you feel QD. I felt like that my last semester in college. So I stopped going for a while. Now, I’m getting back into the right kind of mindset and I'm tentatively planning on going back in January. Sometimes you just need to take a break for a while (a year or two). If you force...

    Being sick is a pain!

That sucks. I hate being sick. So.... today is Saturday. Are you saying you've had this illness for over a week now? If so, I'd suggest you see a doctor.

What's the Opposite of GM's Day? (Free PDF Weekend!)

The opposite of GM's Day?? GM's Night, of course. Why would you expect "player's" to be the opposite of "DMs." Isn't the opposite of "DMs" Jack Chick or something?? And why do DMs only get a day, when players get a whole weekend?? Once again, players have it easier than the DM...

    plot and npc-driven adventures

I really like character driven plots. I like it when the adventure happens to the characters, whether they like it or not. i'm not really a role-player, I am really more of a war gamer and a story teller. I like complex stories with many sub-plots. I love it when players spend hours trying to...

Male player + female character: a new twist

I don't have a problem with cross gender role playing, but I do think your idea is interesting. I can imagine a lot of great opportunities for uncomfortable, unusual or humorous situations involving a character like that.

Which race is the LEAST masculine?

New sub-race: Ambiguously Gendered Elf.... oh wait... that's already been done... I voted Gnome just to be different.

    Ozzy's axemen

I voted for Randy, but Tony was/is real good too.

    Would D&D be easier if...

I like that too. That's why I developed the Primal Heroes line of core classes. There are only six core classes in the series, and each features a slot-based advancement system similar to the fighter feats or d20 Modern talents. With these classes there is no need for prestige classes and you...

D&D 4E What would you want to see in 4e?

Simplier (fewer) calculations for high level play.

Which race is the most masculine? Gnome?

Gotta be dwarves. Half-orcs are a close second, though.

My thoughts on WOTC saying "we'll give you a leat a years notice" saying at GenCon.

I think a year's notice is fair, and I don't think we'll hear it anytime soon.

Truckers on strike? End of civilization as we know it?

I saw a brief story on Fox the other day about a small group of independent truckers who were protesting the high gas prices, I think it was in Florida, but I'm not sure.

    Los Lonely Boys

Los Lonely Boys play in Nashville quite a bit. I haven't seen them live, but those who have say they are pretty good.

    Do you color your hair?

Nope. Never colored my hair. Since its fairly long, I have done a lot of other things with it though, usually at the urging of some silly girl.

    OGL? SUccess or failure?

I can only speak from my own experience, as I don't follow industry trends nearly as much as I should. As a small press d20 publisher I frequently buy d20 products from my competitors. Also, since I can research my customer names, I know that several of my own customers are other d20...
