Sadly, Pledge of Tyranny didn't end up going nearly as far as I had planned due to a decreasing amount of interest by the player combined with the difficulty of arranging for gaming time when my job was being bad in ways I can't adequately describe on a granny-friendly board. The only good...
Evendur held up his hands in protest. “Hey, w-wait a minute!” The old man finished his spell, but held the pulsating black energy back, its vileness emanating from one feeble fist. Evendur swallowed and continued, “We’re not intruders; we came here because of this!” He reached into his...
Just as Evendur had told, they traveled for half a mile on that street, pushing through the throng. The people here were poorer, and beggars teemed along the edges. “We are entering a poor section of the city,” Evendur shouted over the din as they moved to the right side of the street. He was...
Been a little while on updates, I know. I've got the part that got lost in the crash, but I've wanted to wait to write a new update before I put it up. Don't worry, it's on the way and almost finished. I just had to do some reviews first :heh:
One of the things to remember about spells without the discerning enhancement is that allies have to remain inside the area of effect or lose the benefits of the spell until they return. Also, enemies can gain the benefits as well within the radius.
I'm personally a fan of the area healing...
Hey, I've never posted in any OotS thread! I just barely became part of the in-crowd having caught up on the comic a couple of days ago. Goblins is still my #1.
Now that my work schedule has returned to weekdays, Saturdays are free for gaming again. I will be reviving Age of Elements II: Shards of Fate, a 3rd Edition D&D IRC game that runs on Saturdays starting at 1pm EST. Characters will start at 1st-level with ability scores rolled using a custom...
Bookmarked for reference during my seafaring campaign. Incidentally, you're welcome to join in said campaign if you've the time. It's on Saturdays starting at 1pm EST. Email me if you think you're available. :)
No siree, nothing illegal, ominous, or otherwise suspicious going on here.
:uhoh:
papastebu, I remember that post. I'm glad to hear you're out of that situation, and that you have a loving and supporting wife who will help you realize that dream.
From Stone to Steel is 3.0, but there isn't much of a difference between the two. Unless you've never played 3.0 before, you should be able to figure out how to convert the weapon sizes to the new format.
House rules of that sort I dislike. I have my own that you've probably seen in this forum (I don't feel like pimping today), but those sorts I generally dislike. I've applied a modifier to Strength checks equal to the size modifier on grapple checks, but even then it's not an automatic win on...
I would highly recommend From Stone to Steel at regular price. On sale, there's just no reason not to pick it up! I don't do arctic games often but remember how sadly the rules lack in that area, so I picked up a copy of Frost & Fur. I hope that money helps you pull through this ordeal. :(
I think it's all the design threads coupled with the record-breaking heat wave. I just avoid the heated threads (or stop reading them once the heat turns up).
