I normally game on Wednesdays and refuse to record TV, so I only catch episodes when game night is cancelled. My wife loves the show, but I think it is a show you need to catch early on. I will admit certain aspects of the story line are very intriguing.

What flavor is psionics? I keep reading I hate the flavor, and I don't understand it. I don't see psionics any different than magic except you get to see other spells than magic missle, fireball etc. To me, it adds a nice diversity to the game.

X-COM is hands down my favorite game of all time. I loved the tacticle feel at squad level, the personal stats of the squad members and the ability to name them gave you an attachment to each one. I wish they would come out with a new version of this older game or one similar to it .
