Lost 5-19-05

I'm also surprised that Hurley didn't see the numbers on the hatch. He was looking right at it. Maybe he was on the wrong side?

Oh, and Sun and Jin made me teary-eyed. I'm such a wuss. :p

Hands down, the best, funniest, most timely quote from this whole season of the show was Michael to Jin on the boat:

"No THIS one goes THERE! THAT one goes THERE!"

PERFECT!

I caught that, too. :D

Don't you feel this show is a bit too dramatic. I have only caught few episodes, but man, talk about over the top acting coupled with music scores made for TV movies would be jealous of, it stops me from enjoying the show.

well, it has been building lately. If you caught it from the beginning you'd see some ebb and flow in the pacing and the dramatic pieces. But ya, it does get a little too much.

I normally game on Wednesdays and refuse to record TV, so I only catch episodes when game night is cancelled. My wife loves the show, but I think it is a show you need to catch early on. I will admit certain aspects of the story line are very intriguing.

Cool episode, can't wait for next week.

For one thing it looks like the boat trip will be short lived. Was that not Sawyer running around the jungle?

For Old One, the short synopsis:
- The French woman shows up in camp and says that the "Others" are coming, and their only choices are to leave, hide, or die.
- She explains now that her group saw black smoke one day, and the next day the "Others" came and took her baby daughter Alex.
- The islanders all work together to rush the boat out to launch.
- Jack and Locke come up with the idea that maybe they can blow open the hatch and hide everyone in there.
- They leave to follow the French woman to "Black Rock" to get dynamite.

I think that pretty much covers the beginning that you might have missed.
Oh and the kid had a flashback of when he fought with his father before the morning of their flight.

Anyone else think that the scratches on the french woman's arm were from Vincent? I've got a nagging suspision that she's after ole' turniphead.

Thanks...I picked up right when they decided to go after the dynamite.
