If you're looking at open source, PCGen is an LGPL program. As long as your operating system can run java, you can run PCGen. The GMGen plug-in of PCGen is used for at-table play.

But if Y derives from X, then X should be in Y's S15. And if you derive from Y, then your S15 will contain Y's...which will have X's.

No, if you use OGC from source X, you need to include all of S15 from X in your S15. Common practice is not include duplicates. So, your S15 needs to include the OGL, and X's includes the OGL. You don't need to have the OGL in your S15 twice. That make more sense?

Well, I just watched it tonight as a re-run after the Dresden finale. I thought the show was interesting. I'm probably a heretic for saying this, but I've not watched Heroes, so can't speak on the comparison.
