Entombed with the Pharaoh (J1) and Pacts Stone Pyramid (J4) are kind of an arc. They are tied together and there is some cool mysteries there that the PCs can find. They are both exploration of Pyramids and have a good variety of encounters.

When I have done this it was more like the character funnel of DCC RPG. There were a lot of character and it was expected that most of them would die. It can work okay. The best luck I've had with this type of game was to make it a horror game of normal people caught in extra ordinary...

Ya, too many people stopped watching season 1 and are not coming back to it when it finally gets good. I think its doomed. Agent Carter might be as well because I'm not sure that can attract viewers when AoS can't.

That is going to depend highly on the people playing and not the game. What is a fun move is not game dependent but people dependent.

Who is we? I'm not a writer for Wizards and I don't think you are. We have no input on prestige classes at this point other then posting on boards and sending an e-mail. Those mostly get ignored though. I'd bet the decision on prestige classes is already made.

Agree. I think it had one of the best first books and then some neat things here and there but by the time we got into books 4 and 5 it was getting boring and tiresome.

Well, sure when you limit the competition so greatly the 5e one looks better. But really it should aspire to be the best ever and not just the best of a very small selection by one company.

Of the ones I've played or run Council of Thieves was my favorite. There are a lot of great NPCs in it, the setting of the city is fantastic, and since the characters never really leave the city there is a lot that can be done to really enhance the AP. Sadly if one doesn't do that the AP is not...

Don't forget the subtle looks the Blue dragon was giving the Red dragon. I think we are going to get a purple dragon this coming season!

Second episode was good. Creepy villains with more talked about. The gore was a little more then I was expecting for an 8pm show. I wonder if the guy that fell down the hole is going to lead to anything.

The reason it failed is because they did not learn from 2e. Roleplaying requirements for classes or anything mechanical just doesn't work for balancing a it.

That would be great if that was the were made to be used but that's not what a prestige class is. A prestige class is more powerful abilities that are delayed a few levels till the character gets some mechanical requirements. All the added fluff and story to a prestige class had little to know...

I hope they don't come back. The game doesn't need them as the subclass system fills that same function. Prestige classes in 3e were a neat idea but it was simply not done well and quickly went from optional to practically required.

At least three with 2e, 3e, and 4e.

It's always interesting where people draw the line. A humanoid race that looks reptilian and may be descended from dragons is fine even though it may have unrealistic body structure, tails, and wings. But add breasts and suddenly there is a problem.

One thing it looks like they are doing that hopefully won't ruin the show is having Young Bruce Wayne in each episode. I would prefer that he was barely in the show at all and it focused more on the adults and the city.

We got through the first section. The PCs had a hard time with the zombies but the other creatures were pretty easy. The dice were hot for the Zombies so they did a lot of damage. Now that they are there and they made friends with the Paladin they are trying to figure out what is going on...
