I detect that you are not happy *readies syringe*. You know what they say about unhappy people? "Laugh and the world laughs with you... Cry and you die!" *smiles pleasantly and bats eyelashes*

    Halfling Musketeers -- Sat. 1pm-5pm & 6pm-10pm. BOTH FULL

Well, since quite a few folks are in the True Dungeon game from 6pm-8pm, and I am attending a seminar from 1pm-3pm, the only other time on Saturday that I can do this is from 8:30am-12:30pm. Would this be too early for folks?

    Halfling Musketeers -- Sat. 1pm-5pm & 6pm-10pm. BOTH FULL

I'm not sure when to schedule this one except that Friday is a bad day for me unless folks want to start gaming at the butt-crack of dawn.

    Don't hold your breath, but...

Yeah, and unfortunately the "Internet Archive" (www.archive.org) does not accurately capture any part of ENWorld except the opening page, so that's no help.

Paranoia O.R.C. and P.I.E. Full again

Crothian, I'd love to get in on this game, but am debating between the "happiness officer" and the "hygeine officer". Can you offer a little more background about what these officers do? Edit: P.S. Is it OK that I've never played Paranoia?

    Harpy Holidays

All over the world, good little adventurers are pinning their bags of holding onto fireplace mantels so the Holiday Harpy can fill them up with armor, weapons, and (my personal favorite) minor magical items.

How easy do you find it to run NPC party members?

When I was running my Freeport campaign a while back, I had an NPC with a very strong personality. She was the niece of Finn, head of the halfling mafia. She first became involved with the party when she had a one-night-stand with one of the PCs ( a male halfling fighter). When her uncle found...

Late, lamented (or unlamented) fast-food chains

Wow, Shakey's Pizza! About 10 years ago this chain was still going strong in Okinawa, Japan (where I lived for about 3 years). The Shakey's Pizza Delivery guys drove these crazy little souped-up motorcycles which they used to swiftly and dangerously navigate busy intersections and zip through...

    Let's hook up

I must admit that the term "hook up" is pretty much synonymous with "shack up" for me, so I wouldn't have said it to my boss. While on the topic, what about the phrase "get up" when used to mean "get in touch with". For example: "I meant to get up with you this weekend." The first time I ever...

Unexpected Guests: Look whose coming to dinner?

Wow! The couple in this situation sound really rude! If their child was so interested in roleplaying, rather than dragging them along to a game, they should have created a family DnD session specifically for their children. Not only would this be a great family-building activity, it would also...
