Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

Anyway, here is the living altar's attack against the bugbear... Uses the psionic power Energy Current (augmented as if it uses 15 power points), which means it does 15d6 points of electricity damage and the save DC increases to 24 plus 2 for the power being electricity based for a total DC of...

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

Found this in the Rules of the Game archive: So, the antimagic field doesn't negate the blasphemy's spread. It is treated as a solid object like a wall and the spread flows around it. That means there is more than enough spread to hit all the characters. I'm not sure where I read it, but I'm...

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

Hmm, I might not have done the spread right. I didn't take into account the height of the room. EDIT: It might not matter, since the spells area is 40 feet, but I need to doublecheck.

Anyway, time for breakfast before it gets any later.

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

The characters are only dazed for 1 round. The weakened effect lasts 5 rounds. So, while Vitus can't act in this round (rnd. 8), he can act in a weakened state in the rounds after he comes out of being dazed. If he must attack with a melee weapon, he simply does so at a -4 to hit. Plus, you...

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

See, this was my initial thought as well. Yet, I'm still not sure about how antimagic field should work if Akos drags Tuck into the zone. Antimagic field says this... It refers to instant conjurations. Blasphemy is an instant evocation. Still, I'm not really sure if dragging Tuck into the field...

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

I don't know if using dispel magic against the effects of blasphemy would/should work. The spell, or in this case the SLA, is instantaneous. It doesn't have a duration. Yes, its effects have a duration, but the spell doesn't doesn't 'attach' itself to a character. I do think that if Akos drags...

Protections from the Blasphemy spell ?

I should also note that their is an allied NPC who is both deaf and mute, and I though it should be logical that he would be immune to the blasphemy, but after reading through this thread, I'm not really sure.

Protections from the Blasphemy spell ?

Casts thread resurrection! 2. In my current pbp game, a bad guy just used blasphemy against the PCs in a demiplane. The demiplane is not the villains home plane. Earlier in the fight, one of the PCs tried to use antimagic field off a scroll and it was miscast. I still allowed the field...

I'm not sure. Maybe. You're thinking of having Akos drag Tuck into the zone?

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

If I've calculated right, the PCs affected by the blasphemy have their Strength scores reduced to the following numbers for the next 5 rounds. Falen: STR 6 Rockhorn: STR 12 Tymbeck: STR 19 (includes 1 STR damage from unholy blight) Vincenzo: STR 5 (includes 1 STR drain from poison) * Vitus: STR...

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

No. It is a spread effect, like with a fireball. It fills all available area. So, as a 40-ft. radius spread, it fills the entire room and more than enough of the corridor to hit everyone. And, since the door is open, it spills out into the corridor. It can go around corners.

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

I just realized that since the knight is deaf, he cannot be affected by the bugbear cleric's ability. It is a sonic ability, which means the knight would be have to be able to hear the bugbear's words.

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

    Khagron - Blasphemy Effects (STR redution plus time and duration of paralysis): 2D6 = [6, 2] = 8 (STR reduced) 2D4 = [3, 2] = 5 (# of rounds STR is reduced) 1D10 = [10] = 10 (# of rounds for paralysis)

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [IC]

Khagron watches Mitrik die next to him, and he glance back towards Akos and Tuck. "A distraction... perhaps?" He laughs and shakes his head. "It does not matter." He boldly steps toward Big Tim, Custodio, and Falen. He focuses his eyes main on the Tall Knight but he is careful not to give Falen...
