Wrong, dragonborn where created by 2 true dragons polymorphing into humans and getting it on. The female then stays in humanoid form until giving birth. These 1st generation born are actually half dragons and when they lay eggs, that's how you get dborn.

Half orcs sucked power wise in 1st edition. But they where they only class that could multiclass with(either thief or assasin) with a cleric in that edition, and that made them kool as a character to play.
