I'm using Firefox - and I'll return to active duty on the Tempest wiki within the next five days ;) ...good idea with the map, Jürgen!

I always loved the direction FFG took with their "Legendary" classes and abilities (see the "Path of..." books and the Dawnforge setting)

also don't forget that Tempest should have no race-specific deities! The fact that cool magic items are usually kept by the ruling elite and the military could be a excellent reason for adventurers to comb through the overgrown ruins of ancient castles and fortesses or long-forgotten battle...

I'd like to re-awaken this setting - but the last time I checked on Tempest no one but me seem to be adding new material anymore. However, if we'd find at least one more new active contributor beyond Jürgen and me, then maybe we could get this baby going again...

remember that one important aspect of all "gaming crack" stuff is not just collectibility but also POWER INFLATION... ...so, 4E might feature: level-linked books - you want to level up? Buy more books! e.g.: DMG4E, D&D4E-Rulebook, PHB4E-Level1-5, PHB4E-Level6-10, PHB4E-Level11-15...
