    This is a good point. When I started with D&D, I already read a lot, but when I jumped into AD&D (a few months later), it was only available in English. My knowledge of the language improved quickly and I learned a lot of vocabulary, although I used to joke that I learned the word "dweomer"...

    It seems that even TSR sort of forgot B1. For example, it was never translated in Italian. When the Red Box came out in Italy in 1985 (IIRC), the modules available where B2, B3 and B4.
