No restrictions - your choice, just keep in mind for the POD version it will be grayscale, so easy on the dark colors and keep the contrast high if you do color. Also, if you're doing an image that's close to 8.5 x 11 scan or create it at 200 dpi, if it's smaller than that make it 300 dpi...
