    D&D 3.x Good PrCs or multi-classed Wizard/Rogues

Just curious, did you use sorcerer or other in that build?

    D&D 3.x Good PrCs or multi-classed Wizard/Rogues

Hi Dannyalcatraz, Thanks. I'm familiar with the Beguiler and have already converted a different 1E character of mine to 3.5 using the Beguiler (dual class Thief/Illusionist). Yes, it's a fun class. I have your martial arcanist database already bookmarked. :) I completely missed the...

    D&D 3.x Good PrCs or multi-classed Wizard/Rogues

Hi Alzrius and thanks. I'm liking Magelord. Probably that instead of Arcane Trickster. After low levels the character was primarily the party's blaster in 1E so that looks a better fit. Thanks for the reminder about Urban Savant. That gets the character the ability to cast in light armor...

    D&D 3.x Good PrCs or multi-classed Wizard/Rogues

Hi All, I'm working through my 1e characters converting them to 3.5 versions. I have an Elf Magic User/Thief that I'm now converting. After levels in Wizard and Rogue, Arcane Trickster is probably the best one available and I'll be using that for most of the build. Spellwarp Sniper is another...

Is there a system with a realistic cargo-hauling/speculation system?

Agreed on Traveller, but we did have some odd results on the tables. At one point our PCs were selling F-15s to farmers on an airless planet.

D&D 5E (2014) Official Dragonlance Minis Are On The Way!

Peripheral for some yes, but I've been playing D&D for decades using miniatures for combat encounters, so I'm all for more minis.

D&D 3.x Ways to quicken a spell with a 1 minute casting time?

Hi All, I'm looking for a way for a character to reduce the casting time of a spell that normally has a 1 minute casting time. I thought about putting the spell on a scroll or ring of spell storing, but if I'm reading the Rules Compendium correctly the casting time remains the same as the...

D&D 3.x More Epic questions and thoughts - Theurge type PrCs

Hi All, Just wanted to get some input on how I think the Epic progression works for Theurge type PrCs. The ones I'm thinking of are Mystic Theurge, Arcane Hierophant, Ultimate Magus, Eldritch Theurge and the like. In a nutshell, does Epic progression for PrCs kick in when the character...

    D&D 3.x BoVD Sadism Spell

There's a spell in the Book of Vile Darkness called 'Sadism', 2nd or 3rd level spell depending on the caster's class. It states in the description: "For every 10 points of damage the caster deals in a given round while under the effect of this spell, she gains a +1 luck bonus on attack rolls...

    D&D 3.x Nar Demonbinder question

There's some good stuff in that book. I think the Animate Dread Warrior spell is in that book. Lots of things for evil NPCs.

    D&D 3.x Nar Demonbinder question

Hi TwoSix, thanks for confirming. Yep, with it's own spellcasting progression it's similar to the Sublime Chord, but you are limited to certain spells. Off the top of my head the 9th level spells available would be something like this: Monster summoning IX Freedom Imprisonment Gate I'll...

    D&D 3.x Nar Demonbinder question

Question folks. I don't have the book handy (it's in a box in one of two buildings). Is the Nar Demonbinder really only 7 levels long? 8th level spells being the maximum? If yes, it seems plausible to make it a 10 level PrC. Monster summoning IX, etc for 9th level spells.

    The 3.X Martial Arcanist Database

Yes, it's a bit odd given the bardic knowledge requirement while bards can already cast in light armor. I think that is why they allow the 2 ranks in knowledge (history) as a substitute so wizards and sorcerers can take advantage of the light armored casting.
