What type of animal hero are you?

PARANOID RADIOACTIVE CHEF OWL. Actually, two-and-a-half of those are spot on.

The One Ring 2E - Unhappy with Free League's pre-order and shipping

FWIW, I pre-ordered through Miniature Market in January, and it showed up today. (Not to threadjack; late pre-orders bother the heck out of me so I empathize.)

D&D Reference in Snake Eyes Movie

Oh, man: The Borovia Arc would make a great adventure seed: you've got what starts as a standard rescue mission-in-hostile-territory, it goes pear-shaped when the hostage is already released, there's colorful NPC's (White Clown, Magda, Cobra Commander), a circus (!), the party gets split: one...

D&D Reference in Snake Eyes Movie

More like a Marvel GI Joe Comics reference: Borovia. :) (Ish #61-66: Really good storyline, though.) ETA: But that's not to say Larry Hama wasn't aware of the Hickmans or their work.

D&D General Stranger Things Image of a D&D Game

Oh! Same! My first "campaign" (as opposed to Scout Camp-O-Ree one-shots), buying and painting our own mini was the price of admission. This would have been sometime between 90 and 92, I'm sure.

Dragonlance Dragonlance Nexus Posts Tasslehoff's Pouches of Everything

I just want to add my voice to the thanks for this--as a long-time DL fan (back to alt.fan.dragonlance)-- I appreciate the time and effort put into this document.

D&D 5E (2014) Look at all this Draconic Fizban art!

Extreme Dinosaurs? (I know, you said "better" animation.)

Dragonlance Dragonlance Nexus Posts Tasslehoff's Pouches of Everything

Completely agree! I'd consider seeking out a print if I were going to GenCon this year. It's exactly the type of story a Kender would tell about "Uncle Tas"...even if Soth was one of the few things to unsettle Kender in-universe.

    D&D 5E (2014) So Much Witchlight Art!

Oooh. Are those Peryton in image 140650? As a Jorge Luis Borges fan, I'm always excited to see them featured more.

    D&D 5E (2014) The October D&D Book is Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons

(I'm a few days behind on this conversation, so if it's said elsewhere, I apologize,.) I was hoping for Dragon-Pact Warlock in Strixhaven, but by putting out Fizban's before that one, there's a chance we'd see the pact even earlier, and Stix can draw from that. I don't know what I'd want to see...

How do you layer your pizza?

Yup, same. And I only worked in a pizza joint for two days (long story). I was 15-16. I wasn't smart enough to ask why.

    D&D 5E (2014) In Scarlet Flames/The Hidden Page: 2 of 5 Free D&D Adventures from WotC

Oh, I don't disagree. They're also probably over-levelled for a MtG player coming to D&D for the first time: too many options. But that just brings us back to the question the other thread asked: who is the audience for these?

They did, but like so much else it's not very easy to find: Planeswalker Pregens (is linking like this okay?) Individual sheets can be found on the Adventuers in the Forgotten Realms product page down on the bottom left.

What podcasts do you listen to (and why?)

Avid 99PI listener. Also WBEZ Chicago's Curious City, answering listener questions about Chicago trivia and culture. Those two typically make up my "weekend lawnmowing listen." Technically, they're radio programs first, but I listen to Science Friday and Sound Opinions, "The world's only Rock &...

What do you eat for a typical breakfast?

That sounds AMAZING; something I'll be looking up. (I'm in the States, so not something I'm familiar with, but I am curious!). Typically, breakfast burrito: scrambled or fried egg, sausage or bacon, some cheese, and veggies. When I make them in advance, I'll prep a dozen and freeze and...

D&D 5E (2014) 5-Part Forgotten Realms Adventure Coming Next Week

I'll echo that, and "The Chains that Bind," by the same author, isn't half bad. I also enjoyed "Blue-Green Ribbons," but it had moments where it seemed like exposition got cut in the editing process.
