I can understand your point, but all this rant because of an Half-Elf?! A half-human who is confused with a human? Come on, you could have come up with a better example. There are far worse things in role playing. And I still say it's the other players' fault not knowing the guy is an half-elf...

Skill Challenges still... There's one thing I never understood: how do players act on a SC? Are there turns and each one does something each turn? Does he *have* to act every turn? Or does one of them just take initiative and say "I do this"? Maybe I didn't read the books right, but I've never...

Yeah, the only power I'll swap is a utility power. There are some nice teleportations or stances. Bastard sword has to be the best weapon, but shields... I just don't like them. I'll rethink my position if I die two times in the same session (with 16 AC it's too probable, right? :P)

So, some time ago I built a Genasi Barbarian who comes from a desert and manifests Firesoul and Earthsoul. In this campaign there's me, a Shadar-Kai Rogue, a Shifter Beastmaster Ranger and a Bard. Last session the Bard missed and we almost had a TPK. That's when I noticed we're all strikers...

But there is a paragon path for Half-Elves, it's Paragon Multiclassing. And Versatile Master makes it a great option :)

I voted ROGUE! I've never quite understood this class. Detecting traps? Might as well use a walking stick. Or throw the barbarian at them... Thief? Warlord again, and I'll keep voting it until it goes away. It's an unfortunate name, it's military, heals with an order ("Stop bleeding!") and because it's a military officer. I'm happy to see it's taking the lead :)

Clerics and Paladins choose alignment according to rules and write it on the character sheet. Then we ignore alignments completely. When it comes to divine characters and their actions there's "WW<divinity>D?" No deity is completely good or evil. Lot's of grey areas around.
