D&D General Converting Bg3 to Tabletop

I wouldn't make them full-on pre-gen characters, instead I'd package their backstory elements into optional backgrounds/backstories for players to pick (similar to the Secrets in Rime of the Frostmaiden) with the promise that taking one will give them some deeper roleplay elements and storylines...

Streaming services, which do you have or are you getting rid of?

I really need to cancel Disney+. I keep it around because it's got all the old Marvel and Star Wars stuff that I like, but when I consider how often I actually watch any of it, I'd probably have spent less buying them as individual downloads on Amazon or YouTube.

    My Fingerprinting Woes Continue

Maybe you're a former MIB agent and you don't remember because they Neuralysed you when you left the service.

"You meet a mysterious stranger in a tavern." Origins?

Or older. I'm sure there were tales of strangers meeting at the local watering hole back when it was a literal watering hole.

Payn does a 7 day trial of MGM+ so you dont have to...

I seriously thought for a minute that they had put out a show called TL;DR. Ironically, on my first reading of your post I skimmed it and didn't actually read down to the description.

What Bit Of Fan Fic/Edit/Theory Made a Thing Better or even GREAT For You?

There are a few inconsistencies, in particular I believe Mason mentions being former SAS whereas Bond is former Royal Navy, but it's close enough. Yeah, that's one I kind-of assumed to be the case when I saw the movie, and it would be entirely within the mindset of the military government in...

Technically, but I'll maintain my own headcanon on that one. :) There's nothing in XCOM 2 that is really contradictory to the loss having occurred after you "win" in XCOM.

Still undecided. Reviews seem cautiously optimistic, but not to a "this is so much better than The Outer Worlds" extent, and I'd want it to be definitely better if I'm going to dedicate time and money to it.

Oh, I still enjoy XCOM, and when I really get the mood for it I'll start with that one. It's just that I know I'll then want to dive into XCOM 2 afterwards, so it's a longer commitment.

I've been playing Elite Dangerous for a couple of months, and am the same way when it comes to the game's Engineering system. Yes, there's lots to tweak, but it's so much grinding to unlock initially (seriously, at one point I was doing tasks to unlock the engineer who'd let me unlock the...

Honestly, no idea. I got through to some form of main-plot conclusion back when it first came out, but it was all very metaphysical and as I understand it there are a few different endings. For the few hours I've played so far (a bit of tutorialised exploring and base building on one planet...

I've decided to give No Man's Sky another try for the first time in years. Appropriately for the season, my starting location is the planet of the pumpkins.

One thing I did appreciate in Mass Effect Andromeda was the broader engagement ranges resulting from the more open-world design, making sniping viable with both weapons and powers.

Your top 5 movie trilogies of all time, and why?

Indeed, to me Back to the Future is the perfect top-tier trilogy. The first one stands alone as a great time travel story while leaving the door open to sequels, the second is a little weak pacing-wise during the future section but does a masterful job of weaving its plot into the original...

EN World What you thought a thread title said.

Isekai in general could do with being a little more rare. And more well done, for that matter.

Spoilers Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Yeah, the Maquis were ultimately just one plot thread too many for the writers, which is a shame, because a lot of the themes involved with them were ones that the show liked to explore. But with the tides of multiple conflicts sweeping across the region, it was tough to keep them relevant...
