    Disadvantage is essentially -4 to hit. Not much has an AC over 20 so -2 to hit is probably more in line where monster AC should be at higher CR.

    Bought the hardcover AP a few weeks ago. I was thinking of 5E conversion. I suspect the 3 3E APs and som of the PF1 APs might be worth a 5E conversion using milestones.

    Mostly on point. A couple of maybes Dragon Sorcerer built around hex, scorching ray. Metamagic and Chromatic orb/fireball/lightning bolt. Wizard CME+ Scorching ray. Even nerfed CME. Takes a while. Valor bard ones goofy and to much theorycraft.

    Gilgeams based off Gilgamesh iirc or is an ascended Gilgamesh iirc. Its ambiguous afaik if 5E Gilgeam is the same one as pre 4E Gilgeam.

    Term hrognard doesn't offend me. Games always going to evolve and change. Whether or not you like it is up to your and the grognards are entitled to their opinion. They're also so rare they may as well not exist. At least the stereotypical ones.

    Your opinion is also subjective. Look at the xp budgets if youre running RAW. I'm at level 13. High 27000 Medium 21000 Low 15000 Im running RAW atm as its new rules. You can use a huge horde of crap to fill budgets that high or 4-6 CR 8-10 critters. Level 13 PCs have so many options...

    I've found that. DM buys all the books players have no idea. BG3 has changed things a lot around Karsus, Dead 3, Shar ad Selune. Old hat to fans of FR . Alot have just discussed FR as Elminsters and other epic casters playground. Theres a bit more to it than that.
