My group generally meets at around 7:30 or 8 and plays 'till about midnight. That's when most of us turn into pumpkins because of work the next morning. I don't think I've ever played in any session longer than about 8 hours and I know I've never run one that went longer than 6.

Because of someone I used to play with (who I don’t play with anymore for a very long story) I started DMing before I ever got to play. I enjoy DMing for the most part. I’m lucky enough that almost everyone in the group runs a game, so I also get ample opportunity to play.
