*cough* I feel rather embarrassed to say this, but... our gaming group uses a 50 pt buy... :D So I am used to somewhat higher stats. Doesn't bother me any (stats don't make that big an impact on the game, really), but I'm just accustomed to seeing higher than 12s. ;)

I believe that LAs are for races, not classes. I hold them in totally different views. If you hold a different opinion, then fine - as I have said several times, this is only mine - and as I also said in my last post, if that works for you, then go for it. You have no obligation to do anything...

I have to agree with everyone who has said to not mix gestalt and non-gestalt - just don't do it, it isn't balanced. I believe that it even says so in the gestalt rules (although I don't have a copy with me to double-check).
