    In the system I use, it is a definite yes. It would be like asking is it worth while to get multiple degrees. I have to say overwhelmingly yes, for spell, ability access as well as diversifying your characters.

    Your answer pretty much nails what I wanted to know. I wanted to see if my own framework of my own system, had any equivalent. It seems it took them a long time, but in some cases yes, and in many cases no.
