    D&D 5E (2024) Githzerai Psion? Thri-kreen Psion? Where's My Psion?

I don't think the Ardent is wide enough to be it's own class, I think there'll just be a College of Ardor Bard subclass. Psion definitely could have 6 or more subclasses, since there were 6 disciplines: Telepathy Disciple, Psychometabolism Disciple and so on.

D&D 5E (2024) Grade Knowledge Domain, Green, Yellow, Red?

A Knowledge Cleric doesn't need to put any points into Intelligence because once they're 6th level, any failure will just use their Wisdom score as the check.

D&D 5E (2024) Above the Table Interview with Jeremy Crawford.

As someone who is very attached to 2e Planescape, I really do prefer the 5e redesign in look. As for them being Celestials, also fine as some non-good creatures from the Astral Plane get categorized as that. Yes, I know it's because Outsider as a type doesn't exist in 5e.

D&D 5E (2024) Above the Table Interview with Jeremy Crawford.

I'm not familiar with Descent into Avernus, but how were those vehicle rules?

D&D 5E (2024) Above the Table Interview with Jeremy Crawford.

There's also the strange case of the Asuras in D&D, most associate Asuras with Fiends because they're Fiends in Hinduism. Except that Asuras of D&D who generally appear as flame-winged angels with bird feet, are more based off of the Persian/Zoroastrian interpretation, they probably could be...

D&D 5E (2024) Above the Table Interview with Jeremy Crawford.

Cherubim are sort of covered by some of the Archons. You also have to remember that Rilmani are Celestials now, and are more interesting in their liquid metal construct-like forms. Though they've always been the paragons of the Outlands rather than the Upper Planes. And then there's whatever...

D&D 5E (2024) Grade College of the Moon, Green, Yellow, Red?

Probably should use "Fochlucan Lyrist" (a Bard/Druid prestige class from 3e) somehow in the name, since that's what the intentions of the subclass remind of. I think it's abilities are mostly good, though there could be another stronger push to the Druid, and yes Tales of Mirth does step on the...

D&D 5E (2024) Spellfire Sorceror what did you score it Green/Yellow/Red?

For me it doesn't make sense how Crown of Spellfire is not tied to the Innate Sorcery ability that Sorcerers already have.
  9. Kobold Avenger

D&D 5E (2024) Grade Knowledge Domain, Green, Yellow, Red?

I like how the Knowledge Cleric is now the Psionic-themed subclass for Clerics, but I don't like the Knowledge Cleric can just ignore Intelligence for it's skills.

D&D 5E (2024) Bladesinger, is it Green, Yellow, or Red?

I put in yellow, because I don't like that many of the bonuses of Bladesong have an On/Off switch that you have to keep track of. I think a bunch of bonuses should be "always on", like +INT mod to AC and as replacements for weapon attacks bonuses and +INT to concentration. If there needs to be a...

D&D 5E (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

This subclass currently adds it's Cha bonus to Light Armor along with Dex, much like how the Bladesinger currently adds it's Int bonus to Mage Armor along with Dex.

    D&D 5E (2024) Githzerai Psion? Thri-kreen Psion? Where's My Psion?

I actually liked the concepts that Bruce Cordell came up with for Psionics back in 3.5e, it actually did give Psionics a bunch of it's unique flavour. And yes it was a mixture of New Age concepts with crystals, Victorian Pseudoscience with ectoplasm, Asian Mysticism such as Yoga (Siddhis, where...

    D&D 5E (2024) Monster Manual 2025 Elementals

Anyways I like the idea that a Xorn might want to eat a Galeb Dur because they're delicious.

    D&D 5E (2024) Monster Manual 2025 Elementals

I'd have them all there, I still conceptually see the Negative and Positive Energy Planes attached to the Inner Planes, as much as they say it's connected to the Outer Planes instead. And still use the idea mentioned by designers, but never stated in the books that Feywild is between the...

    D&D 5E (2024) Monster Manual 2025 Elementals

It's interesting they don't bring up the Xaren, even though that was just an "Advanced Xorn" except it came from the Quasi-elemental plane of Minerals (which I know isn't really in 5e cosmology).
  16. Kobold Avenger

    D&D 5E (2024) Githzerai Psion? Thri-kreen Psion? Where's My Psion?

I'm very much in the "use spells" faction and would be really against any attempt to recreate 2e's 3 different psionic systems. And will use 3.5e's Truenamer as an example of why skill roll based casting is a bad idea.

    D&D 5E (2024) Monster Manual 2025 Elementals

The Elemental Cataclysm is directly connected to the Elemental Chaos, sample appearance is sort of like Tiamat but has heads that suggest a connection to the Phoenix, Elder Tempest, Leviathan and Zaratan.

    D&D 5E (2024) I have a Monster Manual. AMA!

Humans are quite evil, their second most dangerous animal on Earth are Humans. Only Mosquitos kill more Humans than Humans do.

    D&D 5E (2024) I have a Monster Manual. AMA!

I think some of the things about NPC creature stat blocks started as early as that free Spelljammer adventure on D&D Beyond, when they describe the Bandits (in the simulation) as being all sorts of things, like having a fishbowl head with a floating or a second head.
