    D&D 5E (2014) Is D&D 90% Combat?

I get the feeling that if/when there is a 6e that Milestones will be the default xp/advancement system. It seems to be where most of their adventures are going right now. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if 50e goes that way.

Roll20 Now Has 10 Million Users

Sometimes people just ask for clarification of things so that they don't get the wrong impression.

Roll20 Now Has 10 Million Users

I haven't tried it beyond basic SWADE, but Savage Worlds has some official support on Foundry as well. (Deadlands and Savage Pathfinder both have stuff.)

Roll20 Now Has 10 Million Users

Thanks. I didn't seem like I was seeing it right. Sometimes I really am... uh... clueless.

Roll20 Now Has 10 Million Users

Then it's more like 10 million visitors have passed through the front doors? Not so much 10 million users using Roll20?

    D&D 5E (2014) Doctors & Daleks - Cubicle 7 Brings Doctor Who to D&D 5E

Wil Wheaton's Tabletop rocked on toast. Loved that show.

    D&D 5E (2014) Is D&D 90% Combat?

Some sessions? Yes, 90% Some sessions? No, 0% All other sessions? Some where in between. D&D (every edition) supported this quite well. Some editions better than others, but still. It's a tool box that has hammers and screwdrivers and other bits and bobs. So that sometimes you can bang the crap...

    D&D 5E (2014) Is D&D 90% Combat?

Back way when it used to be streamed live. Is it no longer? :::Quick Google::: Huh. I guess not. Goes to show it's been a while since I watched it! @antiwesley : That very quick google showed that "Critical Role will continue to pre-record their episodes with Campaign 3 although they made it...

    D&D 5E (2014) Doctors & Daleks - Cubicle 7 Brings Doctor Who to D&D 5E

But, I think, they were looking for a D&D pun which Doctors and Daleks fills, but Time Lords and TARDISes does not. Though I suspect you already knew that and I'm being decidedly unhelpful.

    D&D 5E (2014) Doctors & Daleks - Cubicle 7 Brings Doctor Who to D&D 5E

Why would you think that one excludes the other? I think this is the thinking that's got too many people in an uproar. That it's either one or the other. It's not. I can have both unless they explode like matter-antimatter or the whole Two People in the Same Space thing as in Time Cop. I have...

    D&D 5E (2014) Doctors & Daleks - Cubicle 7 Brings Doctor Who to D&D 5E

Well, it's official: I'll be buying DW5e. Heh. Just because all the negativity towards C7 deserves a little positivity and I have money to blow.

    D&D 5E (2014) Doctors & Daleks - Cubicle 7 Brings Doctor Who to D&D 5E

And this would be a possible problem if it was replacing their own bespoked game. But it's in addition to. It's also clear in the tweet that making a 5e version of TOR lead to more sales of their TOR version. Seems like a win-win. Whatever. I'll leave people to dunk on something they haven't...

    D&D 5E (2014) Doctors & Daleks - Cubicle 7 Brings Doctor Who to D&D 5E

I also find it rather disheartening when people go: "What?! You're designing/making something that may sell well?! Money grabbing greedy bastards! (Hyperbole). Just go back to making that other thing. It's not like you need money to feed your families, pay rent, etc. Just do what I like and deal...

    D&D 5E (2014) Doctors & Daleks - Cubicle 7 Brings Doctor Who to D&D 5E

This line from the Tweet: "We're a very small community. Stop pulling people down. And please just let people enjoy things." Why don't we do more of that? Even in this thread, people are bashing DW5e without even any real information about it. Just seems... petty and cruel and more than a...

    D&D 5E (2024) Will you buy 5.5e/6e PHB?

If they redo the Halfling art so they no longer have a dancing bobblehead mutant as an example in the Ancestry Descriptions, I'm definitely in! (Actually, I'm in anyway. )

    RPG Evolution: The Half-Edition Shuffle

If we get into what we're each hoping for, I'm hoping for a consolidation more than a revision (though I expect there will be some slight revisions). I'd love for the rules stuff from the different books to be pulled together into the PHB and DMG so that I won't have to use several books when...

    RPG Evolution: The Half-Edition Shuffle

Here's what I know: I don't play D&D anymore. At least, not for the last year or so. But I'll be buying the 50th... I suspect that there will be lots of people like me. So this is an opportunity for WotC to do a little tidying up and such and sell a ton of books. I suspect...

Master The Index Card RPG In This Collected Edition

I have 2nd Edition. It's great for those game nights when we wanted something light that wasn't part of our normal campaign. (Sadly, those nights are long gone. :::weeps:::) Do you happen to know what's the difference, if any, between 2nd Edition and Master? If any. Or is it just a compilation...

    Size matters...

A friend asked me about what I really like about Savage Worlds and I gave lots of gamecentric answers (Bennies, classless, etc.) but I finished it all up with "and the books are smaller." He went, "Oh, it's a slim book?" And I had to explain that it's smaller in dimension than, say, a D&D book...

    Is GenCon still worth it?

Just to let everyone know that I'm still reading the thread I created. I just don't have anything to add! Ha!
