    D&D 5E (2014) Kender a hafling subrace

Once again if the answer was “every character Barb or Ross play is annoying and causes trouble at the table” then yes kicking them out solves it... the problem is “Ross and Barb have played 50+ characters in the last 30ish years and the ones that annoyed the table where kenders they tried to...

    D&D 5E (2014) Kender a hafling subrace

I have to laugh we derailed the lawsuit thread with a dozen or so people talking about the kender problem so I made a sepytheead asking for how to fix it... and more then half of the responses pretend there is no kender problem.

Dragonlance Dragonlance's Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman Are Suing WotC for Breach of Contract

Oh look at that... “Those other people over there do things because they can’t help it...” sounds like propaganda to me

    D&D 5E (2014) Kender a hafling subrace

The problem is and why I must disagree is that I do not play games with people who try to cause trouble. I do play games with book fans (some dragon lance some FR some both) I do play with people who try to role play interesting and fun characters. I have seen a one off weird character cause...

    D&D 5E (2014) Kender a hafling subrace

Kenders. Okay so they are halfing sized elf looking creatures with no fear no concept of personal property and some cool toys… On there face they sound great. I HATE HATE HATE with a passion the idea that any intelligent enough to be a PC race could ever not be able to be taught any basic...

Dragonlance Dragonlance's Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman Are Suing WotC for Breach of Contract

Every example you gave makes the kender worse and more problematic. Any of those tribes can be taught English and with it the concepts. It might take a bit of time but they can learn... kenders can’t or won’t learn. They are an entire race that can’t learn. Now imagine being someone (like say...

Dragonlance Dragonlance's Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman Are Suing WotC for Breach of Contract

Yeah basically everywhere that says people love them and treat them well gets a big F word or something over it... I bet if you just google kender image it will be on the first page. (Again won’t link here due to NSFW language)

Dragonlance Dragonlance's Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman Are Suing WotC for Breach of Contract

Like I just said to Morris it is a difference in how the books handle it and how the game does. I remember back I. The 90s people would argue at conventions that “no one would ever force a kender to turn out its pockets” and I was like “did you read the second trilogy... if not I think it was...

Dragonlance Dragonlance's Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman Are Suing WotC for Breach of Contract

In the books yes. In the game supplements not so much. There is a NSFW (so I won’t link it) doctored and edited write up from the 1 e book that pretty much says just that.

Dragonlance Dragonlance's Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman Are Suing WotC for Breach of Contract

My problem is the idea that IF a race really had a flaw where they could not learn a concept at all... that is a major problem that needs to be addressed in world building. You would think many markets would not allow kenders into them... that prejudice against kenders would be high. But...

    Creating a game

I am mostly wondering if there is a company that 'everyone' goes through for printing hard copies of books? Is it like you need to pay to print X number to make it worth it? I assume that you need to print like a thousand or more books to make it worth it, and that people who set up...

    Creating a game

If I wanted to make my own RPG and sell it how hard is it? Not the mechanics (hard enough) not the fluff (still hard enough) but the actually selling it. Where do you find printing and editors? How do you spread word of it? If I wanted to make my own retro clone d&d useing the old ogl is...
