One of my groups plays over Zoom and its tools do a decent job of summarizing but there is a delay in processing the meeting into a summary and I usually have to fix it’s treating players and characters as separate people and a few other things it consistently gets wrong (like monster names).

Yeah, that’s not advice i can imagine ever taking as I don’t see that as remotely “overthinking” or a concept I personally find to have much value. Edit to add: But I found a way that makes sense in my head, and ultimately that is all I need.

Hmm. Yeah, I see now. Maybe a fail means a reckless flight from combat and on a success you might have them choose to flee anyway, but it'd be more of a strategic retreat.
