    D&D 5E (2014) So Much Witchlight Art!

Oooh. Are those Peryton in image 140650? As a Jorge Luis Borges fan, I'm always excited to see them featured more.

    D&D 5E (2014) The October D&D Book is Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons

(I'm a few days behind on this conversation, so if it's said elsewhere, I apologize,.) I was hoping for Dragon-Pact Warlock in Strixhaven, but by putting out Fizban's before that one, there's a chance we'd see the pact even earlier, and Stix can draw from that. I don't know what I'd want to see...

How do you layer your pizza?

Yup, same. And I only worked in a pizza joint for two days (long story). I was 15-16. I wasn't smart enough to ask why.

    D&D 5E (2014) In Scarlet Flames/The Hidden Page: 2 of 5 Free D&D Adventures from WotC

Oh, I don't disagree. They're also probably over-levelled for a MtG player coming to D&D for the first time: too many options. But that just brings us back to the question the other thread asked: who is the audience for these?

    D&D 5E (2014) In Scarlet Flames/The Hidden Page: 2 of 5 Free D&D Adventures from WotC

They did, but like so much else it's not very easy to find: Planeswalker Pregens (is linking like this okay?) Individual sheets can be found on the Adventuers in the Forgotten Realms product page down on the bottom left.

What podcasts do you listen to (and why?)

Avid 99PI listener. Also WBEZ Chicago's Curious City, answering listener questions about Chicago trivia and culture. Those two typically make up my "weekend lawnmowing listen." Technically, they're radio programs first, but I listen to Science Friday and Sound Opinions, "The world's only Rock &...

What do you eat for a typical breakfast?

That sounds AMAZING; something I'll be looking up. (I'm in the States, so not something I'm familiar with, but I am curious!). Typically, breakfast burrito: scrambled or fried egg, sausage or bacon, some cheese, and veggies. When I make them in advance, I'll prep a dozen and freeze and...

D&D 5E (2014) 5-Part Forgotten Realms Adventure Coming Next Week

I'll echo that, and "The Chains that Bind," by the same author, isn't half bad. I also enjoyed "Blue-Green Ribbons," but it had moments where it seemed like exposition got cut in the editing process.

D&D 5E (2014) 5-Part Forgotten Realms Adventure Coming Next Week

Thanks. I should have checked before posting. Well, it's an interesting approach, and I have no problem downloading free advertures!

Coincidentally (or not?) isn't that right where Dragon of Icespire Peak from Essentials leaves off?

    D&D 5E (2014) D&D Power Sources ≈ Magic The Gathering Colors

Not to repeat myself, but since the other thread has derailed... I dig official rules on an elementalist Bard. Between Prismari and "privative" settings, there's a lot of room for this archetype. Anyone know if there's a 3PP version out there? Houseruling (at low levels at least) wouldn't be too...

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Mages of Strixhaven

You got into it more in the other Power Source thread, but I hadn't even considered Cosmic Force Cleric--that seems to fit M:tG's flavor more than the "Cleric of a Specific God" that tends to be assumed by D&D. (aside from what I know of Amonkhet and Theros, and even then...) I would love to...

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Mages of Strixhaven

I think I know I've mentioned it upthread, but think the thing that's interesting me is how the classes the iconic characters are given in the minis compares with the classes on the cards, frankly. I'm assuming the WizKids' minis classes would be the classes these characters have in any...

    D&D 5E (2014) D&D Power Sources ≈ Magic The Gathering Colors

I am in basically complete agreement, but (drawing from the 4E power sources) add I'd overlap Primal with Red and add Shadow to Black (and MAYBE Green). I wonder, would damage types would be the best division? E.G.: acid (Green, Black), bludgeoning (n/a), cold (Blue, White), fire (Red, White?)...

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Mages of Strixhaven

I usually don't either, at least not mainline. But I'm also "just interested enough" in the lore to catch that random bit of trivia going down the MTG wiki rabbithole. I did read the Strixhaven "side stories"; those were good reads. In terms of relation to the UA, I feel like the subclasses are...
