I played in an online D&D5 campaign during the pandemic and while it scratched that itch for gaming, it wasn't what I enjoyed. I prefer face to face, reading body language and the social aspects too much I think.

That's because my RPGs are combat heavy. Even in an RP based game like the Call of Cthulhu game I am playing in, I struggle with drawn out conversations that my character is involved in.

I've purchased two copies of the new PHB. One for me as the DM, and one that players can use during the game.

I decide what spells I want the dragon to have based on it's colour, alignment, personality and other adventure or campaign specific requirements.
