You know what I really want, tho? A remastered Obi Wan Series. I could not believe how small the budget was. I thought both MCGregor and Christensen were great in it and it had lots of potential. I enjoyed it but it was still less than it could have been.

I think it is a mistake to assume the most fervent fans represent the majority of fans. 99.9% of Star Wars fans do not edit Wookiepedia, and 99.8% of them have never even gone to the site.

Yes. Loved them both. Solo was a much better Star Wars film than it gets credit for, coming in the wake of the (IMO justified) backlash to The Last Jedi. It did not perform for Disney the same way D&D:HAT did not perform. That is, it did fine for a fun mid tier heist movie, but expectations...

I would absolutely watch a Solo & Lando series.

I love Fate but it is definitely more difficult to on-board people than it should be. More and more I think that the best route is to start with Fate Accelerated to get them used to the core mechanics and Asapects, then you can move on to more complex games like Core or Dresden.

I feel like this is a little too much of a generalization, and for lots of people Star Wars is far more vibes than details.

I think the core of Daggerheart would make a great STar Wars game, although I would do some serious streamlining, especially as it relates to classes.

I don't think they consider DMsGuild a ghetto, at least for some creators (not least Baker). I mean, aren't the new membrs of the D&D team straight from DMsGuild content creation?

They do, but I don't think YZE (which I generally really like) would fit Star Wars very well.

I quit DC hard with Heroes in Crisis for what they did to Wally. I did read their "apology tour" but I still have not been able to stomach mainline DC since.

Out of curiosity, which era or "subgenre" of Star Wars do you usually aim for? The OT stuff is different than the Prequel stuff, and the Jedi stuff is different than the scrappy Rebel or outlaw stuff. I am curious what you aim for, and how the dice make that happen.
