    AD&D 2E D&D Anniversary Reprints?

We did get anniversary reprints for AD&D 2e (they were released with a green cover and with the internal material and errata from the Black Cover editions of AD&D 2e).

How has the Coronavirus affected your roleplaying games?

For now, my Thursday Night group is on indefinite hiatus, so we're going to be moving online play for the not-too-distant future.

Critical Role Critical Role Suspends Broadcasts

There's probably going to be a degree of stream prep as well - finding the right platform and that sort of thing (with cost possibly not being an issue - if word gets out that Critical Role is looking to at least temporarily move online, Matt will probably find his inbox flooded with sponsorship...

How has the Coronavirus affected your roleplaying games?

Don't know as yet - my group has a message board for planning and coordinating stuff - I've asked the group if we're still meeting as normal or if we're going to be canceling or moving the session online, and have not heard back yet.

Critical Role Critical Role Suspends Broadcasts

I was wondering if they were going to either postpone streaming or move online (which Friends at the Table does)

    Critical Role Wildemount releases tomorrow

I'm not sure if I'll be able to go to pick up a copy from the FLGS, considering the state of Oregon is upping restrictions on gatherings tomorrow, so my main option may be to get it from Amazon (or another online bookstore)

    AD&D 1E Edition Experience: Did/Do you Play 1E AD&D? How Was/Is It?

So - to answer the question - my first time playing AD&D 1E was in my middle school D&D club, where the GM ran us through Keep at the Borderlands and I made the mistake of rolling a wizard as my first character. That, combined with the GM also giving full XP to the PC who got the last hit meant...

D&D 5E (2014) How should 5th edition introduce the remaining classic settings?

So, it depends on the setting. For settings tied heavily on a location with a particular flavor, or with a unique set of rules, like Planescape, Spelljammer, or Birthright, I'd like a setting book or rules book first before opening it up on the DMG. For Dragonlance, I'd really like an...

Pathfinder 2E Gamemastery Guide: What are your thoughts?

As an additional question of my own - are there any useful guidelines for quickly creating NPCs without having to create a new character?

D&D 5E (2014) Which Is Better: Regular or Alternate Cover Art For Theros?

I don't know which one I'd prefer as a book cover, but I wouldn't mind seeing the alternate art painted on a van.

D&D General Which edition of D&D are you currently interested in?

I'm in a 5th edition game right now, which I'm enjoying, but I also do have some fondness for AD&D 2nd Edition as well.

The Sort of TTRPGs You Want More (and Less) Of

For what I'm personally looking for: I want a, basically, modular cyberpunk RPG. If I want fantasy elements like Shadowrun, I can use the magic rules (or take them out if my setting doesn't do that), some rules for powered armor or moderately large monsters if I'm doing something like Appleseed...

Which edition of Star Wars RPG are you currently interested in?

Yeah - when Saga Edition came out I pretty much dumped all my SWD20 books and have never looked back. I do want to hunt down some of the SWD6 Second Edition books, since that was my first Star Wars RPG - though I never actually owned a copy of the rules, just a copy I repeatedly checked out...

POLL: Greatest "Golden Era" Module for D&D.

G1: Steading of the Hill Giant Chief - I did a blog post on this, and this is basically the tabletop RPG equivalent of a sandbox from the most recent Hitman game - you're dropped into this environment with an objective and all the tools in the adventure to accomplish that goal in a variety of...

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depiction of the wizard class

It apparently did not take. I attempted to vote again, and it took this time.

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depiction of the wizard class

I'm going with Schmendrick, Slayn, and the Queen Goddess of the Tsunderes, Rin Tohsaka.

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depiction of the sorcerer class

Ehh - that also works for regular wizards as well - "I only have one 5th level spell slot, so I'm going memorize a spell that can cause the biggest explosions" (alternatively, "I'm going to memorize Fireball in the highest spell slot that I can.")

    Fantasy Flight Games Discontinuing RPGs?

I remember Marvel killing the Marvel Diceless RPG because it wasn't selling as well as D&D 3rd Edition (which was pretty new at the time) - though that may have been smoke and mirrors to cover the project being killed because it was launched under Bill Jemas' regime.
