i've only read the first three books, so no spoilers, please. how many named characters are in "a song of ice and fire" so far (after five books)? i don't need to know the exact number. in fact, an answer like "about 400" or "over a thousand" is sufficient.

penalizing a player for playing an unusual multiclass combination makes no sense to me. give the man his xp.

considering how many game systems, house rules, and from-scratch homebrewed systems there are, i think you might be on to something. many gaming groups might need their own individual system, but quality adventures can be adapted to fit just about any system.

because it makes combat more fun! maybe, but they aren't as much fun! :p

and they've brought back monte cook, who was a big part of the success (in my eyes, anyway) of 3e.
