There ARE a lot of oddities in the discussion about the nature of racism, no question.

While I agree with that analysis, I’ll point out that such things exist with other forms of bigotry as well. A classic example would be lingering wage gaps between men & women for the same jobs. Or the disperate effects of last hired, first fired policies. Or legacy points in school...
