    Definitely so. Being hidden allows you to cast a firebolt with advantage (a "hit" type spell), but has no effect on searing flame (a "save" type spell). Same for being blessed.

    I've been saying this countless times. Elements of Magic is a fantastic idea, and has a brilliant synergy in WOIN. D&D should really do something to improve on the now ancient vancian magic system. I hoped LU would try to include EoM as an option, given ENP have the rights for both.

    Well, in principle you could always be trained, although RAW it only applies to languages, tools and weapons, not skills. I'd house rule it so that any proficiency could be learned (maybe except for saves).
