Good, that means it will definitely show up on BD.

Greek-inspired Odyssey of the Dragonlords From ex-Bioware designers On Kickstarter

$26 shipping to Europe is annoying. Guess I'll wait to see if it shows up on Book Depository. Edit If the publisher is in the UK then why is shipping to Europe so pricey?

    I need a water kobold!

Wanted: small and evil humanoid type aquatic/coastal creature that is CR 1/4 or 1/8 to provide much needed XP to a party of level 1 adventurers. I have MM, ToF, Volo's, as well as Kobold Press's Tome of Beasts and Creature Codex but I can't seem to find something that fits the bill (Sahuagin...

Not my thing either, but I'm happy for any voice actor that can afford dental insurance.

Our group just hit 18th level. Here's what you are missing if you never player this high

Yeah, everything is turned up to 11! If the group gets into the spirit then it's great fun.

Our group just hit 18th level. Here's what you are missing if you never player this high

Our group has been playing 5th since early 2015. We decided that our latest campaign would have a goal of reaching level 20 through XP leveling. We wanted to see for ourselves what the experience of high level play is for both DMs and players. Let me say this: high level play is hard for the...

Odyssey of the Dragonlords from Arcanum Worlds

I haven't seen a post about this yet--the Player's Guide went up (for free) on Drivethru RPG yesterday. I had a quick read of it this morning over coffee and give it two thumbs up.

Pages From The Upcoming Nautical D&D Book!

The successful Goodman Games reincarnations of Keep on the Borderlands and Isle of Dread show that classic adventures are money makers when given to safe hands. If not the DM's Guild then perhaps we can hope for something explicitly Greyhawk from Goodman Games or Kobold Press under license.

Now You Can Have A D&D Notebook!

The smaller journals with the monster stats would make for an interesting prop for a character who fancies herself as a collector/researcher/alchemists. Assuming there is at least one dragon in the collection, the journal could be used to catalogue the healing properties of the beast's pineal...

Now You Can Have A D&D Notebook!

The price is in-line with other high-end journals. This is my favorite journal at the moment. It's 90gsm paper with a binding that will last a life time: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Clairefontaine-Thread-Bound-Notebook-Pages-Green/dp/B071JNWCJ9?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_1656598031

$800 on Ebay?! What in the hell is going on with the limited edition Volo's Guide to Monsters?

listed for $800. Was there only a couple hundred of these printed or something? I guess I should stop reading mine on the bus while drinking coffee...

tail wags dog: streamers want to say 'aaargh' so we are getting a pirate adventure

You misunderstood I'm afraid. I'll wait until it comes out before I decide to buy it or not. It may contain some useful character options such as spells or sub classes. I agree, just as there are better systems for steampunk. I suspect WotC knows this and will be very light-touch---not much...

tail wags dog: streamers want to say 'aaargh' so we are getting a pirate adventure

A friend of mine has an interesting theory. Streamers such as Critical Role and the like are a tax that grognards like me pay. The play style of streamers is unrepresentative but for whatever inscrutable reason they attract younger players to the game. The grognard gets the benefits a large...

Into the Borderlands - On Running an Updated Classic

Our group played it and had an absolute ball because of no meta plot. If you don't have a problem with Ravnica's dungeon ecology then Keep on the Borderlands won't trouble you either.

Who are the leaders of the main factions in 5th edition?

Several of the hardback adventures identify important agents of the main factions. A quick google, however, has failed to turn up the identity of any outright heads/leaders of the factions. Is my google-fu weak or do we just lack details about this?
