Here in Ireland my FLGS doesn't expect to have the limited edition boxed set until the first week of December. Just wondering if anyone else has it yet.

Does the book come with a card pack?

Agreed--love Schley's maps but they work better when they are regional/city than his dungeon maps (too dark among other things). The maps in this book are great--functional and nice to look at with a tiny dash of old school.

This looks like a strong book. You want a bit of railroading for low-level particularly in a city setting. The NPCs are interesting too. I think if the party has good cohesion of purpose then the player will enjoy this adventure. No complaints (the Drow gunslingers will be replaced with...

A target of a scrying spell gets a save to resist. Does the target know there was an attempt at scrying, or just that they resisted something? DM discretion?

Your numbers are North American. Where I live $170 represents about 6.5% of tuition for a year of university. So it's win-win, I get the alternate boxed set and my children avoid crippling debt.

The question is this: will my children and their children take as much pleasure in owning the limited edition alternate cover slipcase set as I will? I hope so because it's coming out of their college fund.

It's going to be a divot in October's paycheck, but I'll have to buy the alternate boxed set. Gorgeous.
