    Cleaning a battlemat

http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=134008 This thread has some tips for Crystal Caste mats. Black wet erase markers will stain any mat if left on too long. :(

    Bad Sequel film-fest

"The Two Jakes"? I can't remember anything particularly redeeming about it, but YMMV ;)

    Cursed items

My group encounters cursed items just often enough to make us paranoid :uhoh: . When I DM I use cursed items as an adventure hook, or as a powerful item with nasty drawbacks. Some of my cursed weapons and armor were designed for a specific person or group, and were only "cursed" for someone...

    Lost - Season Finale *Spoilers*

Yes, the boat at the end when they took Walt. A young blonde woman was in the wheelhouse area of the boat, and threw the molotov coktail that blew up the raft.

    Dungeon #124 has arrived!

Wow, Thanks Erik! I hadn't seen the other thread, so I was just lucky to mention the reference here. I just sent the e-mail. Looking forward to some Dungeon goodies. :D

    Dungeon #124 has arrived!

i just got the issue today. From what I've read so far, it looks to be a good issue. I really like the Age of Worms setup. There are two names used in the Diamond Lake background that sound very familiar to me. Khellek and Auric are names I remember from a very old D&D ad that appeared in...

    Lost - Season Finale *Spoilers*

Does anyone think that the blonde girl on the "pirate" boat could be the French woman's Alex? I was hoping for a few answers in this episode, but I still enjoyed it. I like that the ladder stops a few feet down the shaft. It give them another hurdle to overcome next season. Too many thoughts...

    Armor Types

I'm with Liquidsabre on this one. This seems to give a reasonable adjustment to medium armor to make it a more attractive option.

    Your approach to rules

I voted for 5 Minutes. I would normally say 30 seconds, but my group is new to the game, and each other, so I try to make sure that everyone learns the rule. I also try to anticipate rules that I am not too familiar with coming up in play and check them before the session (E.G. NPC special...

How do you like your steak prepared?

I like mine "medium", so I generally order them "medium rare". In most restaurants in my area your steak will be overcooked :(

    It's D&D! Song

I caught that on the Bob and Tom radio show, but I didn't know who the artist was. Good stuff.

    Where for art thou Tasloi?

Thanks for the references guys. I'll check with my friend that has OA and see if I can find them. I think they were in Dwellers of the Forbidden City, but my copy of that module is long since gone. Good times... Good times... I can't wait to spring those little critters on my players. If I...

    Where for art thou Tasloi?

See, that help IS great. I was having a fairly rough day, but you brought a smile to my face. :) Plus, I learned something. Bonus :D

    Where for art thou Tasloi?

Does anybody know where I can find the stats on the Tasloi? I checked in the creature conversion files, but had no luck. I can't even remember where the monster was presented in the previous editions. I think it was introduced in an adventure module, but I can't recall which one. Any help...

    "Woo-hoo...woo-hoo-hoo..."

"Strict Machine" from one of the older Nintendo GBA commercials. I think it was by Goldfrap. Very techno sounding. :)

    Lost 5-19-05

I really enjoyed this episode. I had speculated that the Black Rock might be a ship, but I thought it would be the French Woman's ship. I never would have guessed that it was an old sailing vessel. I was glad to see "Sawyer" telling Jack about his dad. That was a really well done scene. I...

Has Google become the new Kleenex?

Does anyone in the U.S. use the word gelatin anymore? All I hear in my area is Jell-O. I can see why Google would want to avoid becoming the generic term for web searching.

    Average Monthly Gas Bill

You may be able to get an average gas bill amount in the general area by checking with the local utility office. In my area they keep some stats for use by realtors.
