WotC D&D Beyond Reveals 'Partnered Content' Schedule

RPG supplements, as a broad category, are a perfect thing for slop -' both writing and art. It sucks, but there really isn't a alternative.

Who Should Make The Next Star Wars TTRPG, And What Should It Look Like?

The Force exists in the Star Wars fiction. But they aren't narrative mechanics.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I am sure some do, but I don't know anyone who works at those schools, and I know a lot of teachers.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

ironically, private schools in the US pay their teachers like peasants and their admin like kings, so while the schools look nice on a college application, the education is not particularly good. I have known many people that teach at private schools and they make significantly less than public...

Who Should Make The Next Star Wars TTRPG, And What Should It Look Like?

Sure but the system also demands the smuggler not get vaporized with no chance of escape or survival. Protagonists in Star Wars don't go out that way.

Taylor Navarro Joins Wizards of the Coast as D&D Designer

Season 4 was such an improvement over the previous 2, I sort of figured we would see at least that level of quality in 5. But in the end, it was a vain hope; television shows, especially ones that are fandom phenoms, rarely stick the landing. It is one of those shows that would have been better...

Not the first time, either. I think we had a litereal "are force points metacurrency" thread a while back.

Who Should Make The Next Star Wars TTRPG, And What Should It Look Like?

No you don't. You spend a resource to reroll or whatever. They don't need to provide any narrative control. They don't even have to be metagame if "luck" or "the force" are real things in the fiction.

Who Should Make The Next Star Wars TTRPG, And What Should It Look Like?

Bennies etc are not narrative mechanics. ETA: not necessarily narrative mechanics.
