Yeah, A5E is most definitely still a "new school" game. it has more in common with Pathfinder or 13th Age than it does with Shadowdark or Swords & Wizardry.

If you're asking if it'll be back eventually, yes. I just need an LUSRD that points to the artificer and savant to re-emerge on a5esrd.com. Once that happens, I'll reactivate the title.

Significant progress update: the interior and cover files have passed DTRPG's pre-publication review and are currently uploading. I should be able to order a print preview in a few days after the publisher does their review.

I realize this isn't an option for everyone, but if there's something from a WotC book that I really want for some thematic reason, I'll throw together a new A5E version with the same narrative role/flavor. (A non-trivial amount of content in MoAR and Spells from the Forgotten Vault is borne out...

Mine is that anything from WotC books is banned. It's not just animus toward WotC, either. I've found that other stuff based on the OGL is less of a hassle to implement because of the shared 5.0/5.1 SRD baseline.
