As a side note: this thing is big and it is elaborate. A lot of really cool expansions of existing class features (new Furious Critical options, for example) found their way into the design this month. Some exciting build possibilities!

The non-classical spell lists are intentionally there as a design hook. I do remember that from the designer discussions while we were working on the system. So I figured I'd start hanging stuff on them. :)

This product right here is a prime example of just how much flexibility there is in the A5E system and how many exciting design hooks to hang new stuff on it has. You couldn't do anything like this with O5E. By the way, the implementation here is absolutely top-notch. Well worth picking up.

The new grimlock lore is my favorite contribution to the core books. But that also means I want to be able to play one, and that turned out to be a thornier puzzle than initially expected. As I said, I'm so glad it worked out in the end.

That went through some iteration. There was a heritage in there at various points, but as it turned out, it works best as a culture. I'm just glad they're in there as a playable option, tbh. I lobbied hard for that and I'm so happy it made the final cut. :)
