I wish that Paizo did 5e versions of their APs. Their APs tend to be head and shoulders above the WotC adventure books.

I feel it's just like they heyday of 3rd edition when the d20 movement was going strong and the best products were NOT from WotC (aside from main ruleset that is).

It's easily better than RftLW. That was underwhelming.

I backed the West Marches KS. I like the wilderness stuff.

The background on the alt cover is too saturated in color. Details are lost. The first one doesn't drive me crazy either, but the book cover has the image cropped too tight for the actual cover. I don't know what's happening over at WotC but they're really missing the mark for covers lately...

Lost City is already scheduled for the conversion

I would like more aliens for this version though, otherwise, wonderful books, campaigns, etc. Just awesome. Plus it's great to use for any just about any sci-fi setting.

The new settings don't exactly light me on fire either. I'm still hoping they keep pushing the system forward though. I have yet to run it, but it reads like it should be fun.

Look into the 2nd edition, it changes some things, rolling high, but it still seems to be a solid system.

Much like 1st ed Alternity was for D&D, to some degree. No, Alternity was not D&D in space, but some people seemed to think it was that. Whereas Starfinder unabashedly embraces the 'D&D in space' and it's still met with middling enthusiasm.

WotC wanted to find the worst cover art possible, so that when they put up a better one, we'll be happy. All funning aside, curious as to what they're doing. I would gather another Xanathar like book, that would be awesome.

Chill 1st or 2nd Ed, or GURPS would fit the bill. I believe Dracula us already statted out for both systems.

I have to say that Starfinder has slid right off my shelf as well. It didn't click with me, but I kept a few modules, maps, and the Pact Worlds book for use in other scifi games.

I have a Eberron and Acquisitions just waiting to be looked at haven't even gotten around to it yet, it's killing me.

A bit less awful is right. For such an exciting and busy setting oh, it's a surprisingly underwhelming cover.
