That’s too soon IMHO. In my mind, there is a wide gulf between level 20 characters and gods. That gulf is made up of a lot of epic levels.

I must have missed something, but how does the EK get to cast CME at level 7? They should only be getting 2nd level spells at EK 7, and CME is 4th level, which EKs get at level 19.

I think countering spells could be made way more interesting. Mage on mage fights should be awesome, terrifying and mind boggling all at once. I’m thinking of something along these lines: 1. Counterspell is no longer a 3rd level spell. Instead it becomes a cantrip, BUT, it works differently...
