    Monkey Familiars

So, I'm starting a new character for a group of 'secondary' characters with my current group. These secondary characters are going to be pirates, and my character is the 'good luck charm' of the ship, a pygmie voodoo priest. To pull this off rules wise we're using a sorcerer. Now the tricky...

Here's the Player Pack, partially so I can download it at work, and aslo for anybody else who should need it.

    A group of secondary characters?

Yeah, pirates might not cross over much, atleast at first, but ut all comes down to a matter o what we want out of them. Really, I want to: a)Explore a different class b)Explore a different persona c)See a different area of the world Croos-overs would be fun, but not nessecary. We can talk...

    A group of secondary characters?

Any idea when we would start these secondary characters (if we did)? I would kind of like to sneak in one session with my secondary, to get him in at the ground floor of the group, so to speak. That would only give us this friday (out of the question) or the next two Fridays after that. I'd...

    Margaret Weis Finds Serenity

Wonder how this 'new system' wil play out... I'll more then likely buy it no matter what, but I hope the rules behind it are solid.

    Serenity Update...

Indeed, spotted that when you pointed that out. I guess a crew of six could refer to the real 'crew,' but it seems a little odd. Probably nothing story related, but just stupid advertising.

    Serenity Update...

In the preview at Apple did anybody else notice that the preview mentions a crew of 6, and that Book and Kaylee never appear? the actors are listed as being in the movie, but they never show up, and a crew of 6 would not even include the characters that are on screen (Mal, Jayne, Wash, Simon...

    A group of secondary characters?

Okay, I voted for my choice: a hroup of 'merchnats' (coughpiratescough) exploring the world. Especially since I have seen less of the world, it would be fun to see some of the places I may not se ein the main game. Plus, I like pirates, and can make an idea for pretty much every setting. Looking...

    What is best in life?

No need to trash roleplay time for more combat, the balance now is pretty good. I'm not saying things need to change, I'm saying I like this part.
  10. Macbeth

    Plans

Yes. You have to have ranks in Knowledge(pie) to know how to eat only the good parts.
  11. Macbeth

    Plans

Deigh is all for Mt. Ternell, followed by Delve. He doesn't mind spending maybe a month in Greerson to train and craft, and he'll definately be better suited for a life of adventure with his 1 new rank in Knowledge(Pie). And it doesn't take Knowledge(Pie) that teleport would be mindblowing like...

    What is best in life?

My favorite part of the game? At the risk of sounding munchkin-y, I'll say combat. Why? Cause our combat is very strategic, and I think there are plenty of ways to roleplay in combat, based on what your character chooses to do and how you describe it. I probably also favor combat since, lets...

Real world animal, meet D+D monster

Awesome, awesome ideas. This thread should give some great ideas to anybody writing a monster book.

    Plans

I agree. In fact, Oceas' plan of action sound right by me. Do our buisness here (maybe train?) got to Mt. Ternell for a quick visit, and then kick some goblin/gnoll @$$ in Delve. By my estimate, we've been away from Delve maybe 3 weeks so far. If that's correct, we could spend a month training...

    Party Names

The party formed by the group I play with now is called The Seekers of Legend, since we're all trying ot 'make a name for ourselves' so to speak. Unfortunately, that abberviates to S.O.L., but we still stick with it. Got a little party symbol and everything. Before I played with them, in the...
  16. Macbeth

    Plans

Deigh likes this option. We were part of this conflict, and we should help see it through to the end. Deigh is weel trained in bashing goblins, and we're likely to a) make a name for ourselves and b) get some funds/recognition/both from the 'king' of Delve We're not equipped to fight underwater...

A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe OOP

Great news! Glad I have a copy. And a hardbound would be an easy sell to me too (assuming I have some money to spare). Can't wait till I get Monster Builder.

    64-bit Processor Problems?

As far as the memory: I've certainly got enough (1 gb of ram), but I guess it might be a quality issue. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen often enough to be easy to test. I don't know how long I would have new RAM in before I could really tell.
