Ceramic DM- The Renewal ( Final judgement posted)

At some point, you're going to have to tell us who your favorite author is cause this is just plain weird... but really cool. Nice pics. :)

Book of Iron Might: Arcane Battle Feats

My gut instinct says they're fine, since they're close to abilites granted by PrCs. Howevre, I've never seen them in play, so some experience with them would be great.

    Firefox- What are the downsides?

Downsides in the browser itself? None. Th eonly real problems you'll find are in compliance issues, as mentioned above, with non-standard IE specific pages (which happen less and less often these days) and Windows Update (the only reason I stil have IE). I just bought a new computer, and Firefox...

Gonna play a scout. I can hear the other players whining already...

Skirmishing, Flanking, same difference... But I really did mean skirmishing. Edited my post to correct that.

Gonna play a scout. I can hear the other players whining already...

Disclaimer: My Scout experiences come from a game with more of an emphasis on playing what you want then playing a min-maxed character. Playing Ranger 1/Scout 4 is great fun. As strong as a rogue? Possibly. Not stronger, I'd say, but then again my DM (BardStephenFox) has made all skills class...

Mini-Game Writers, Represent! EN MINI-GAMES needs you!

How long will this call be open? I'm interested in eventually sending some ideas your way, but I'm a bit tied up with some other projects right now. If the series does well, will you be open to submissions idefinately? Anyways, cool idea for a product line, we can always use more mini-games.

    Plans

So, what happened after I left? If there's still some chance of us keeping the ship itself, and maybe converting it to another source of power (assuming those creatures powered it), I say we go for it. Even if we can't get another power source to make it fly, maybe we could keep it as a river...

Goblin Zeppelins, eh? Well, Deigh is willing to ride along with them, if only for the greater good. As long as they don't bother him, he won't bother them, at least as long as we're in the air. Right now the relic is more important then racial tensions, and Deigh is only really against the...

Eh, I thought moving faster would be great, so I wanted to check it out.

Also worth noting: a DC 15 ride check increases a mount's speed by 10 for 1 round (and deals 1 point of damage to it).

We don't need to fight, but we need to be able to fight... plus, threatening 10 ft. reach from a horse should be fun. :)
  12. Macbeth

    Plans

Who all has the ride skill? Anybody? Ayla? Deigh has it at +5, enough to be able to fight from the saddle effectively (Being able to attack 2 handed is DC 5). This may be a lot tougher if we're all making ride checks all the time...

[Grim Tales] Help me write an adventure

How bout a mad mage summoning technology from the future... set it in Victorian Pulp (LXG) and have the bad guy summoning something from years in the future that he beleives will make him invincible... and it turns out to be an APPLE IIe or a TRS-80... (laugh moment) which doesn't stop the bad...

    Famous people who play D&D.

That would explain the episode with Gary Gygax in it. "I'm..."(Rolls 1d4+1d6)"Happy to meet you." - Gary Gygax, Futurama Episode: Anathology of Interest "Here, take mt +1 Axe." - Gary Gaygax, same episode "I'm a 12th level Vice President" - Al Gore, same episode.

    Scout's skirmish ability

I'm playing a Ranger 1/Scout 4, spiked chain wielder. Actually, to be more accurate, bludgeoning chain wielder (basically a chain whip, same stats as spiked chain, but with bludgeoning damage). Haven't really gotten into combat yet (hopefully this Friday :) ), but I like the build so far. Ranger...

    anyone interested in d20 sports?

Of course. If EN Gamer doesn't use the work, I will post it. However, I think it's going to be used for SOMETHING, since it was all edited, reviewed, and ready to go in the next issue from what I understand.

    anyone interested in d20 sports?

I recently wrote an article detailing a d20 sport called Bloodball for EN World Gamer. Unfortunately, the magazine is now dead, but apparently there's still hope for a PDF release. Not sure how much it would fit some of the ideas discussed here (especially since it does track individual players...

    Anger of Angels Adventures

Thanks for the ideas. Right now I'm leaning towards the PCs defending some divine outpost (maybe something adapted from Beyond Countless Doorways, since I've been wanting to use that). I may even use the hour-by-hour combat rules from Cry Havok to run the battle around the PCs, with the PCs...

    Anger of Angels Adventures

So I'm in a bit of a tight spot. One of the players I DM for got Anger of Angels for his birthday, and when I'm back home mext week for Spring Break, he really wants me to run an adventure so he can try out some of the stuff from that book. Thing is, I'm a bit busy planning some adventures for...
