    Help Me Figure Out Roll20

When you're ready to start creating characters and NPCs, you can click the "+ CHARACTER" button. The Dragonbane sheet will start off fairly minimal. Where it says "Sheet Type", you can change it to be a PC/NPC, Monster, or "Party/GM". I do wish it had a minimalist option for NPCs, but it creates...

    Help Me Figure Out Roll20

OK! Now that you have a Page built, take a look at the Layers. Roll20 has 3 main Layers, the GM layer (where objects can only be seen by the GM), the Map Layer (which will sit at the bottom and won't be interacted with by the players), and the Token Layer (where all your character and creature...

    Help Me Figure Out Roll20

Oh and one thing that might be helpful for you and your players. In my games we use Discord for chat and voice, but Roll20 has its own built-in voice system. If you wish to disable it, click on the Gear Icon in the far upper right, choose Audio & Video, and under Chat Tech you can change it to...

To control which Page your players can see, there is a Golden Ribbon. You can either click that and drag it onto the map you want to use, or right click on the desired page and choose "Move Party Ribbon Here"

    Help Me Figure Out Roll20

I've been running a Dragonbane game in Roll20. I don't have a video tutorial, though Roll20 does have a Youtube channel where I think they go through a lot of their features, but here's some of the basics that I hope are helpful... So once you have your game created and have selected the...

    Does anyone have Kickstarter regrets?

Oh that Skeletal Dragon... it sits there on a shelf, judging me all the time. A friend used their airbrush to put on a primer coat, and that was... um... more years ago than I care to think about.

    Does anyone have Kickstarter regrets?

Nothing too serious, but I maybe shouldn’t have backed as many Reaper Bones Kickstarters as I did. I don’t think I’ll ever get all those mini’s painted! 😅

A cave of some kind certainly, maybe one with active vulcanism that could be the lair of a fiery red dragon. A frost lair might contrast nicely with that; snow drifts, fog, and thin ice could all be ready challenges.

PS; I love the synergy between the dragon and the swamp environment. Making my own environments is one area of DH I’m trying to get better at.

oops, lol. That’s very cool! As someone adapting a long running Planescape campaign to Daggerheart, seeing creative ways to port over D&D monsters is very appealing to me. And monster design was one of my favorite aspects of 4e. I’d love to see any other examples you’re willing to share!

@zakael19 , I think you were the one that said in another thread you were looking to convert 4e’s Monster Vault to Daggerheart. Is the dragon above one such example? What’s your methodology for doing the conversions?
