3PP Release Crafting Heritages, Cultures and More: Worldbuilding

Yes, it has all the material from both of my first books but revised in light of the state of the art at time of writing. It's very cool to be part of a developing field. 😀 And I'm hopeful that my work on cultures, which has been accepted in Gatepass Gazette, will be popular with Narrators and...

    D&D General World building book

Might as well follow up with a blog article about the book. It went quite well with the funding.

3PP Release Delivering Monday, back now...

Back today! I'm pretty pleased with getting this into shape to hit delivery at close of funding on Monday 8pm GMT/ 3pm EST / 12pm PST. The art is gorgeous, the layout delightful and I've got an incredible 85 or so pages of fully costed and organised traits. This is good. :)

    3PP Release Reimagined Cultures

Hope there's some interest in random culture generation. I split culture into trappings and traits. Traits are pretty easy. The trappings are a bit harder. Currently we have: origin myths deities geographical influence festivals and calenders fashion art family and childcare organisation of...

Hi, I don't post here often but I am bringing out a book which will let you make your own heritages, cultures, backgrounds and feats which will be balanced with existing official material. The first edition was very well recieved but there's been a lot of developments in 5e (like a new...

3PP Release Crafting Heritages, Cultures and More: Worldbuilding

Yeah Juan Ochoa, done a lot of work for Evil Hat. 😀 Really nice chap to work with. 😀 It's a brownscale to help with the shading. 😀 I'm not really a GrimDark person so the final version will be a lovely sunny multicultural Market. Very cool. 😀

    Classes and Classifications: The Berserker

I certainly wouldn't hit the berserkers with non s/b/p damage every fight! That would be terrible GMing right? Completely invalidate the player agency and character choice! But Magic items are available for money and as part of hordes. I don't see the need for dedicated mages when an NPC with a...

    Classes and Classifications: The Berserker

Thanks for your comments. This piece of writing is designed to help newer players get into the game. Barbarians are ez mode as well. You take bear totem, you run in and you hit them. Your crits do more raw damage from L6 and from level 2 you can give yourself advantage. I think being toned down...

    Classes and Classifications: The Berserker

3PP Release New! The Dragonfly Titan! Elite CR 22

I feel the title of the thread does a lot of explaining... Flying towards you comes a glowing, glittering creature, it's wings a brightly-coloured blur such is the speed of movement, as it arrives, a second later a deafening roar makes you feel like the world is being torn apart around you, you...

    3PP Release A Delightful Dozen

I'm told that I should be posting under new releases. This is a delightful dozen it's twelve cute little magic items which I think should be relatively intriguing. It costs like, $5 so it's not free but maybe you'll like it? I know I was giggling when I wrote some of these, so that's generally...

    3PP Release A Delightful Dozen

If you've been following the series on the analysis of cantrips then you might be intrigued by my work on converting some of the most situational to magic items. I think the three that bring me the most glee are: The Mechanical Hornet The Grappling Hook +1 The Correspondent’s Friend I'm...

Level Up (A5E) Cantrips, pros and cons

Oh. I don't know what the unwritten posting protocol here is. I did do another post this time about the cantrips from Manual of Adventurous Resources which PMG kindly permitted me to reproduce the text of for educational and entertainment purposes...

Level Up (A5E) Cantrips, pros and cons

Oh! I missed this in the merge. Yes. I think that would be good for the cantrip. Pushing it up to S tier because it would be usable far more frequently although it would clash with Bardic Inspiration and other in combat options. Bonus actions are often meant to be conditional on your main...
