    Question for Orlando area gamers

Nah, more likely it is I that owe you an apology. If I remember correctly, me and my friend Josh killed all of the town guards in an attempt to derail your plot train. Then Josh (playing the half-ogre) did something extremely vile (and not repeatable here) to one of your npc's skull. :D Not...

    Question for Orlando area gamers

Oh yeah, hi Jesse. You might not remember but I played in a D&D campaign of yours a few years ago when you lived down south. I seem to recall my character blowing himself up on a gas spore. Lewis says hi by the way. Mike

    Question for Orlando area gamers

Yeah, I know about Sci Fi City. Best damn game store in the universe. But, the one I am talking about is a little hole in the wall place that is (was?) run by a guy as a hobby more than anything. The store was located very near to where Sci Fi City is now and was only open on the weekends. I...

    B9 Castle Caldwell author?

I was looking at B9 Castle Caldwell and Beyond and noticed that the author's name is Harry Nuckols. This can't possibly be a real name, can it? Who really wrote this module?

    Gygax interview

There is a very interesting interview with Gary Gygax in the latest issue of OD&DITIES (a very cool fanzine for original D&D). Check it out- http://www.tongue.fsnet.co.uk/OD&DITIESIssue9.pdf

    Isn't this illegal?

Dude, this is priceless! :D Here's his ad copy- "This auction is for a PDF copy of the Necronomicon Spellbook. This is not to be used as a toy or for evil purposes. This book is powerful and can be used to invoke Marduk. You only do this in life or death situations."

    Isn't this illegal?

Great! I was wondering who this should be reported to. At least no one has been stupid enough to place a bid on it.

    Isn't this illegal?

Someone is selling pdf versions of a lot of 3E books on Ebay. Isn't this illegal? Or maybe I'm behind the times and WOTC actually sells them this way now? See it here- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3500097315&category=268 ps- I tried to post this on the WOTC site but it...

Does D&D combat break the fantasy?

Is the Dragon Archive CD-ROM any good?

Yes it does have some flaws. The search engine is fairly primitive. It is a pain to use because of constant CD swapping. How many CD's does it have - 4? 6? I don't recall off the top of my head. Also, it seems to want to lock up on me after I use it for an extended length of time. But it...

Does D&D combat break the fantasy?

It looks like you are a malcontent as well, seeing how you have devoted an entire page on your own website to using the Star Wars Vitality/Wound Points for D&D - http://www.zipworld.com.au/~hong/dnd/vpwp_dnd.htm I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning.... :p

Does D&D combat break the fantasy?

No, I believe it is you that is not getting my point. I don't feel very heroic going into battles where I know that there is almost no chance of being killed. Who is more heroic - The warrior who fights with no fear of death or the one who knows he can be killed at any moment but fights anyway?
