Easier said then done. When you host an open to the public community, you get all types. Though the show up with nothing expecting to play is like 1/20 players in my experience. It happens, and I dont know why they think the way they do, but its not that common.

I’d love to see a D&D setting get even a tenth of the development of Golarion but that isn’t going to happen. So, sure toss another setting on the pile I’d take a look.

DS9 was pinnacle it’s all downhill now.

It does have a low cost but it’s usually pretty affordable. I’d ask an FLGS to cover the cost if they are charging for seats. It’s just an idea that has a lot of online support that may take some of the load off you.
