I'm not sure a new store should worry about trying the used RPG thing. With it being so easy to sell them yourself on Ebay, it'll be hard to stock enough sellable used RPGs to make it worth your while. You'll just get stuck buying OOP stuff that no one will buy.

Right now I'm in limbo. I don't have a regular group. So, I'm looking for one and if I don't find one I'll play a one shot here and there until 4e comes out and I'm thinking it will be easier to find a game then with all the hype and all.

I generally only use the core rules unless a player wants to use a WotC supplement. I will allow classes and such to be used from WotC books and sometimes a 3rd party book.

How will your gaming habits be affected by knowing that 4E is coming? Will this change any plans for long term campaigns? Going to have your current game finish up around the time of the 4e release? Think you'll be losing gamers from your group if you try 4e?

I think in the begining (When 4e comes out) we may see a slight decline in old school stuff coming out from those companies that plan to publish 4e stuff. Not because they don't want to publisher old school stuff or that they are going to quit publishing it, but because they will need to focus...

First, I'm sorry if this has been talked about already but: I know quite a few people that had the impression from a press release earlier in the year that D&D V3.5 had a publishing schudule through 2009 and that 4e was " a long way off". Now many of them are very upset that WotC is not keeping...

I'm done with buying 3E. I'll be saving money to buy up 4e, or another game all together if 4e sucks.

I would imagine, like most of this type of stuff, that any PC that was made in the las few years should have no trouble as long as you have a high speed connection. But, who knows. :confused:

I'm done with buying 3E, untill it all goes on clearance. Really, I'm done buying D&D until 4E now. I'll save my money and buy PHB, GMHB, and MM as they come out along with some the other stuff.

All of my D&D buying, and d20 outside of Saga Edition for that matter, is on hold untill 4ed stuff starts coming out.

The compendium was the first thing that tipped me off that 4ed might be coming sooner than we think. Why would you publish such a book if you wanted to continue selling the books that some of that stuff was already published in?

I, like most of you here that said "no" or "not sure", will no doubt buy it. For God's sake it's D&D and I'll be too curious not to. :D
