Help! - Need a replacement for D&D (criteria below)

I second Dungeon World, it is the very same D&D experience with a lot less rules for those starting out, plus the idea is thata ction is based on description instead of the usual trend of action being based on rules. You can get an idea for what Dungeo0n World is here: A 16 hp dragon.

Forgotten Realms print rpg products in 2011?

I am all in for the Neverwinter book, I don't really care for FR but I like new classes and I am betting myself on the Bladesinger being: Bladesinger Role: Striker, depending on your choice of powers you have either controller or leader as a secondary role. Ability Scores: Dexterity is your...

10 Campaign Settings: Which Ones Should I Get?

Dawnforge is a good setting if you are looking for heroic fantasy in the style of Greek/Roman heroics akin to Odissey, and just like Midnight it is a mine of ideas. I voted Midnight but I know very few of the list, and I am a quite rabid fan of that setting. ;)

What single houserule has made your game AWESOME?

Don't be, MM2 has significantly lower solo and elite hps while increasing their abilities when theya re bloodied, this is simply because MM1 solo and elites are too grindy. ;)

What single houserule has made your game AWESOME?

Hahaha sure it would. ;) I found that formula here on enworld, a user shared the idea and it shines in the bigger the grind would be the greater the reduction. ;)

What became of Kate Monk's Onomastikon?

I have always used the great site Kate Monk's Onomastikon for my games, but today I went to it and the link gives me a 404 error. Sure we still have google cache and the wayback machine. But I wonder, what became of it? Anyone knows? It is a great loss if it is anything but temporary, I...

    Zin's Character Sheet

I have thought about that, it is probably possible to do a template picker much like programs are importing the saved character, then tell it to apply XSL templates and violá! Though I am not versed in xml/xsl ways so i am not sure how hard that would be.

    adventure tool/s

I am not sure you can move it to another computer, the entire data should be stored in the data folder, but given how the D&DI subscription works I would be very surprised if we could make the program work without running the install.

    Zin's Character Sheet

Very nice sheet. It is one thing the character builder messed up, not having customizable templates.

    adventure tool/s

The forum does not accept any attachment extension. ;) I believe we won't be seeing a dungeon tile map making tool in adventure tools, simply because it would end up killing their printed products. But I expect a map makign tool of some kind. A skill challenge and trap making tool is simply a...

    Invisible

Those equating Invisibility and Undetectability should read the Invisible Man novel by H. G. Wells, it is basically how the entire invisibility thing started in modern stories. If for nothing else just for the sake of it, it is great book, heck we should all read or re-read it! ;)

    Invisible

Actually it is no house rule, the Invisible Rules are on the PHB page 281 (with January 2010 Updates applied already): The idea is that invisibility merely hides your image, any noise or other noticeable element is there and unless you roll a stealth check you are not trying to conceal any of...
