We need @mearls new Happy hour on YouTube again with his 5e game he’s working on via patreon :) those were alway fun to watch…with out the rage bait.

Not an rpg but received a kickstarter email and it mentioned the largest card based game so curiosity had me click on it…it’s for Cyberpunk by a first timer Weird Co. 12M with 2e days to go….that first timer project doesn’t seem to keep the people from backing. Curious what it ends at now :)

If it has a built in grittier, deadlier feel, I’d give it a shot but if it’s like a 5.5e Greenwood and other “known” book, I’d be down for sure. Either way, I’ll probably have fun with the book!

Amazon Canada has the sales ranking for the PHB as 391 in books, DMG as 1054 in books. MM is sold out so its ranking is way lower since it has no sales as of late. As far as rankings in fantasy books, they are 1 and 2 and the surprising 3rd place is a litadventure…interesting top 10 for...

The Oathbreaker looks interesting and I’ll read about it a bit more and see if it’s a purchase in the near future.

Any chance to send a note to Greg Bilsland and team is a plus as I do think he will do well in the position for upcoming D&D adventures and books.

And even if it’s 2 years later, the reminder to check out Larry’s web store for art prints is a good thing in my opinion!

I may back the mythic legion for the minis as well and already backed the D&D short quests PDFs!

I enjoyed many of the early AL adventures tied to the adventure releases, they were nicely done even if the maps and such were bare bones in most cases.

Same as @Clint_L , backed the pdf version for all 5!

I lost my saving throwing reading this and in AD&D would have perished. :) And I did think this was gygaxian prose when I was reading, hence the death save joke.

You might be right and I’m not going to have reply based on any numbers comparing 5e and pf2 just that I’m thinking of feats like 3.0/3.5 feats that led into PF1 feats and that editions version of D&D and PF had a ton of feats…like a metric tons of feats in the ttrpg time capsule of design...

I don’t understand number 2, cant cast above a 2nd level spell. Ie no fireball or higher spell or can’t upcast a spell 2 level above a spells base? If it’s the first, what’s the main action of a 15th level wizard other than more hit point? Just curious if I’m missing something obvious.

Decently intriguing cover, enough to make me wonder how many feats PF2 has 5+ years in and it’s almost 1000. This is a big reason (feat proliferation) with over 2k in PF1 that we got burned out and had to use hero labs to keep up. The cool cover isn’t enough to make me want to dip my toes back...
